Ceramic That Reads as Found, Not Manufactured

The finish on these vases is distressed white with rust brown undertones that pool naturally in the surface variations. The kind of depth you get from something that looks like it's been somewhere. Porcelain was chosen specifically for the weight it lends both in hand and on the shelf. Ceramic alternatives at this scale can feel thin or prone to chipping at the rim. The ruffled petal edges are formed directly in the casting, not applied after the fact, which means the detail stays crisp and consistent across both pieces.

Two Heights, One Vignette

The set pairs an 11-inch and a 16-inch vase because mantel and shelf styling consistently fails when every piece sits at the same height. Use them together with the taller piece offset to one side. An arrangement that creates a visual triangle without requiring anything else in the vignette. Both openings are wide enough to hold dried branches, eucalyptus, or faux stems without forcing a tight arrangement.
