Hand Carved Suar Wood Bench in Distressed Black and White

Description

A solid wood bench carved by hand from one piece of suar. The top curves gently and the finish runs distressed black fading to white across the grain, so every bench wears its own way.

At 48 inches long, 17 deep, and 19 tall it fits the end of a queen bed, an entry wall, or under a window. In a small room it works as a coffee table or plant stand.

Solid wood moves with humidity. Small cracks and uneven spots can appear over time and are part of the piece.

Solid suar wood. Hand carved. Ships free by freight.

Solid Wood Bench Buying Notes

A solid wood bench carved from a single piece has weight and presence a built bench cannot copy. The distressed black and white finish keeps it modern while the grain keeps it natural. It works at the end of a bed, in an entry, or as a low table.
